Self Love

When we think of self love what's the first thing that. come to your mind?

For me I would say treating yourself with respect I am still learning how to do that because I am not kind to myself. For example I was looking at my photo for photography class

I started criticizing myself.

My arms look huge, my face look weird in the photo ect.

I recognized something when I was saying stuff like that to myself. I realized I am talking to the little girl in me

She should not have to hear all these things

She deserves to be called beautiful, amazing and kind

She would have been so proud of how far we have come

Okay so here is what to do if you aren't feeling good about yourself

1) Talk to yourself the way you would talk to your younger self would you call her ugly? would you tear her down? or remind her that she amazing, beautiful, strong and enough?

Now tell yourself the same thing 🤍

Make sure you guys be gentle with yourself, you and your younger self deserve the same

kind of love.

I'd love for you to share in the "Write Your Story" Selection

Which part of your mental or physical health have you been ignoring the longest?
