Coming come to myself
Today's reflection card is actually a good one. It's from the Self-Care + Wellness deck, and it asks:
"What would it take for you to feel completely comfortable in your own skin?"
For me, I think it starts with taking the time to really get to know myself. Learning what gives me energy, what makes me feel tired, what brings me joy, and what helps me feel my best. Whether that's working out, spending time creating, or simply slowing down and listening to what I need, every little moment helps me understand myself a little more.
But something I've learned over the past few years is that feeling comfortable in your own skin doesn't usually happen all at once. It happens quietly. One day you look back and realize you've been laughing more, worrying less, and showing up as yourself without thinking about it.
Maybe becoming comfortable in your own skin isn't about changing who you are. Maybe it's about giving yourself enough time, grace, and love to discover who you've been all along. 🤍
Tiny Action: Spend five minutes today doing something that makes you feel like you. Maybe it's listening to your favorite song, going for a walk, journaling, or making your favorite drink.
Affirmation: I don't have to become someone else to feel comfortable in my own skin. I'm learning to love the person I already am.
